Literacy Week Jan 2026

January 26-30, 2026 is Family Literacy Week! This year our theme is "Make Meal Time Learning Time", we encourage you to join to take pictures of you and your family doing one (or all!!) of our challenges and text a picture to 867-444-5591 to enter our contest.

Challenges:

Make supper together or try a new recipe

Read a book with a special snack

Draw & label your favourite meal/dessert

Write a grocery list with your family

On Friday, January 30th, families are invited to come to your child's classroom for a picnic lunch! Please come join us during lunch eating, where you and your child can sit picnic-style to eat our lunches together! Lunch eating starts at 11:40am, and indoor recess will start at 12:05pm until 12:30pm. Families are invited to stay for both eating and playing!
